Aus der Serie „Prager Frühling“:

Als Fotograf streift man oft umher. Manchmal gibt es feste Strecke, manchmal ziellos. Im Frühjahr 2018 kam ich in Prag zur fast immer gleichen Zeit am immer gleichen Ort vorbei und diese Katze schien irgendwann auf mich zu warten. Oder ich auf Sie? Einmal traf sich unser Blick und ich hatte die Hand auf dem Auslöser meiner Kamera. Es sind ingesamt drei solcher Bilder entstanden ich habe mich für dieses entschieden. 

Da ich mich in der Schwarz-Weiss Dunkelkammer wohler fühle als in der Dunkelkammer für Farbfotografie, habe ich den Fotografen Gonçalo Carvalho gebeten diese Bild für mich zu printen und es sind insgesamt drei schöne Kopien entstanden. Obrigado, Gonçalo!

From the „Prague Spring“ series:

As a photographer, you often wander around. Sometimes there’s a fixed route, sometimes aimlessly. In the spring of 2018, I passed by the same place in Prague at almost the same time every day, and this cat seemed to be waiting for me. Or was I waiting for her? At one point, our eyes met, and I had my hand on the shutter button on my camera. I took a total of three such pictures, but I chose this one.

Since I feel more comfortable in a black and white darkroom than in a color darkroom, I asked the photographer Gonçalo Carvalho to print this image for me, and he created three beautiful copies.
