The story behind that picture
In May 2022, I was walking with my camera in Denmark, north of Humlebæk. It was a picturesque day, a tranquil atmosphere, and I was wandering around somewhat aimlessly. When I came to this pond, something (which I cannot describe) caught my attention, and I took two or three pictures in portrait and horizontal format. It wasn’t until 2025 that I took a closer look at the negatives. Curated by Stig Marlon Weston, I made some prints from them for the exhibition „Den siste studiofesten“ in Oslo in May 2025.

Im Mai 2022 war ich zu Fuss mit meiner Kamera in Dänemark unterwegs, nördlich von Humlebæk. Es war ein malerischer Tag, eine ruhige Stimmung und ich bin etwas ziellos umhergestreift. Als ich an diesen Teich kam hat etwas (was ich nicht beschreiben kann) meine Aufmerksamkeit gefangen und ich habe zwei, drei Bilder im Hoch- und Queerformat gemacht. Erst in 2025 habe ich mir die Negative näher angeschaut. Kuratiert von Stig Marlon Weston habe ich daraus einige Prints gemacht, für die Ausstellung „Den siste studiofesten“ in Oslo im Mai 2025.
