The story behind that picture
For some time now I have been interested in flowers and especially still life in art. I can’t say why this is so. I also like all kinds of vases and so I composed this some different picture in the studio (in early spring 2024).
This image is actually an analogue color photograph. But to be honest: I don’t really like being in the darkroom for color photography. That’s not my thing. So I made a virtue out of necessity and worked with the color negative in the darkroom for black and white photography. In the original the flower faces right, but I rotated the negative.
I usually make the copies in CYAN darkroom in Trondheimsveien in Oslo.
