The story behind that picture
Some say the flowers here in the photo look untidy. The Norwegian word is maybe «rotete». My experience is that life doesn’t always go straight and sometimes it’s perhaps better to show yourself as you are and not as others would like you to be. The flowers were as they were that day and I photographed them that way. When I look through my contact prints, this is one of the images that I often get stuck on. Maybe you also know situations in which something feels «red» and yet at that moment it is right as it is. The picture is photographed with a Mamiya RB medium format camera and I look forward to reading from you if you are interested in one of the images (limited to four prints).
I usually make the copies/prints in CYAN darkroom in Trondheimsveien in Oslo.
