The story behind that picture

Every now and then, I wander through the palace gardens in Osloo; often, you have it almost entirely to yourself. I’ve always found it interesting to photograph this sculpture. The perspective, with the column in the foreground, the path to the left and right, and the fence, is perfect for a panoramic camera with its wide image. Only gradually did the idea arise to capture this motif throughout the four seasons and perhaps present these images together.Curated by Stig Marlon Weston, I made some prints from them for the exhibition „Den siste studiofesten“ in Oslo in May 2025.

Immer mal wieder durchstreife ich den Schlosspark in Oslo, oftmals hat man diesen fast ganz für sich. Ich fand es immer interessant diese Skulptur zu fotografieren. Die Perspektive mit der Säule im Vordergrund, dem Weg links und rechts und dem Zaun ist wie gemacht für die Panoramakamera mit ihrem breiten Bild. Erst nach und nach ist die Idee enstanden, dieses Motiv während der vier Jahreszeiten einzufangen und diese Bilder vielleicht gemeinsan zu präsentieren. Kuratiert von Stig Marlon Weston habe ich daraus einige Prints gemacht, für die Ausstellung „Den siste studiofesten“ in Oslo im Mai 2025.
